Analyze with Charts

What is this feature?

Chart analysis lets you view post counts, engagement metrics, sentiment, themes, platforms, demographics, and more as tables and graphs based on the conditions selected in a Query or Dashboard.

When should I use it?

  • When you want to review trends in key metrics
  • When you want to compare performance across brands, products, or topics
  • When you want to see the posts behind a specific cell or row in a chart table
  • When you want to verify supporting data to include in a Report

Before you begin

  • You need a Query or Dashboard to analyze.
  • You need permission to view it.
  • Enough data must have been collected and analyzed for the chart to display meaningful results.

How to use it

  1. Open the chart area from a Query Dashboard or Dashboard.
  2. Select the metric you want to analyze.
  3. If needed, adjust the graph type, calculation method, date range, and filters.
  4. Review the table or graph results.
  5. Select a specific cell, row, or data point to drill down into the related post list.

Key options

  • Metrics: post count, engagement metrics, authors, sentiment, themes, platforms, and more
  • Calculation method: sum, average, count, percentage, and more
  • Graph type: line chart, table, scatter plot, and more

Reviewing results

  • Analysis results are displayed in chart cards, tables, and graphs.
  • You can view the related post list for the selected row or cell.
  • The same data may be displayed as counts or percentages depending on the view type.
