Review tracking settings
- In the sidebar under Queries (Brands, Products, or Topics), select a Query.
- Open the Query settings tab.
- Under Tracking setup, review Definition, Include keywords, Include accounts, Exclude keywords, Exclude accounts, and Platforms.
Viewer or higher (Viewer, Writer, Admin) role. When you need to filter out unwanted keywords or accounts during ongoing tracking, use Edit to update exclusion conditions.
Edit exclusions
- With an account that has
Writeror higher (Writer,Admin) role, select Edit. - Update the keywords and accounts to exclude.
- Select Save filter.
- Review the notice regarding affected posts.
- Confirm the changes, then check the updated settings and Posts results.
Exclusion filter editing applies once initial collection for the Query is complete. Saved exclusion filters immediately take effect for subsequent data and current views. If you need to re-incorporate posts previously removed by an exclusion filter, creating a new Query is recommended.
Check usage
In workspace settings, open Query usage to review Query capacity, daily collection limits, and current usage. Evaluate the requested collection timeframe alongside the total number of collected posts to plan your workspace resources effectively. If daily post volume frequently reaches your limit, refine your tracking keywords or exclusion filters to reduce unnecessary noise.Confirm results and troubleshoot
- Check that both the settings view and the post list refresh after saving new exclusions.
- If saving fails to complete, verify the format of excluded keywords and accounts as well as your
Writeror higher (Writer,Admin) role, then retry. - If collection usage approaches your workspace limit or requires expansion, review your tracking keyword scope and usage, then contact your Syncly representative for assistance with capacity expansion.
