Discovery helps you find creators based on what their videos actually look like, not just follower counts. Describe the content you want, search by keyword, or start from a video you like to find lookalike creators. Then save the ones you want to work with to a Shortlist.

Before you start

  • You need Viewer permission or higher to search. Saving to a Shortlist requires Editor or Admin permission.
  • Results include creators from your workspace’s Queries and from Syncly’s creator pool.

Search for creators

  1. In the sidebar, open Creators > Discovery.
  2. Choose how to search:
    • AI visual search: Describe the content you’re looking for in plain language, such as “Creators filming GRWM makeup videos in natural light.”
    • Keyword search: Search by keywords, such as a product category or topic.
  3. Choose a platform and date range.
  4. Select Search.
Discover creators results with followers, engagement rate, and matching videos
Searches run in the background, so you can keep working in other menus. You’ll get a notification when your results are ready. Select New discovery to start a new search.

Review results

Each creator card shows:
  • Their bio, followers, and average engagement rate
  • Example videos that match your search. Hover over a video to see its views, engagements, and engagement rate.
Select View profile to see more about a creator. Use Followers, Filter, and the sort menu to narrow and reorder the results.

Find lookalike creators

Found a video that’s exactly the style you want? Use it as a reference to find more creators like it.
  1. Hover over a video in a creator’s card and select Find lookalike.
  2. Syncly suggests features from that video, such as Makeup application tutorial or Warm indoor lighting. Choose up to 5 that matter most to you.
  3. Select Find creators.
Syncly then searches for creators whose content shares the features you picked.

  • A post’s detail view, using the save to Shortlist button at the top
  • The selection bar in Query explorer, after selecting posts

Select Export all to download your results as an Excel file. The file is prepared in the background, so it may take a moment to be ready.
