Manage queries defines what Syncly collects. Social intelligence turns that data into focused analyses you can return to and share. To explore or compare Queries freely, use Query explorer. Social intelligence tools answer specific questions on top of the same data.

Requirements and permissions

  • Same Query type: Queries in one analysis must be in the same workspace and the same type (all Brands, all Products, or all Topics).
  • Reuse Queries freely: One Query can be used in any number of analyses.
  • Number of Queries:
    • Share of voice: exactly 1 owned Query and at least 1 competitor Query.
    • Spike analysis and Negative mentions: 1 or more Queries.
  • Permissions: Viewer or higher can view results. Editor or Admin can create and edit analyses.

How results are updated

  • Share of voice recalculates for the Queries and date range you select.
  • Spike analysis runs when you select a spike date and choose Analyze. Results appear when processing finishes.
  • Negative mentions prepares a report for each day in the background. Opening the page shows reports that are already ready; it doesn’t start a new analysis.
  • Dashboards show live data from the charts you add.
AI summaries in these tools point you to what’s worth a closer look. For important decisions, open the source posts to confirm.

Good to know

  • Deleting an analysis doesn’t delete its Queries or stop their collection.
  • Adding an archived Query to an analysis shows its past data, but it won’t start collecting again. Use active Queries for up-to-date trends.
